About Us
Evergreen Certified, LLC is a building industry service provider that provides third-party verification and green building support services to the most innovative developers and home builders in the Puget Sound region. We offer green building services for residential projects, specializing in certifications including Built Green, HERS, PHIUS+, Energy Star, and NGBS. We also offer testing, analysis, and consulting services.
We are proud to be the leading certifier for residential new construction in the greater Seattle area. Our team is committed to making green construction easy to understand, build, and sell. We focus on practical ways to enable more builders to develop healthy, efficient, and responsibly-built homes. Builders have many priorities and goals to balance. Our team helps them navigate the complexity of green building, step-by-step, so sustainability goals don’t get dropped. We remove barriers that prevent residential home builders from adopting more sustainable practices. Our idea of success is leading our clients, including the ‘sustainability skeptics’, to a place of comfort and enthusiasm about green building.

We are positive, flexible, and connected.
Our team is made up of people who are passionate about guiding and inspiring contractors to innovate and build more sustainably. We envision a future where sustainable buildings are the new standard.
We love what we do, and we care about each other. As a small business with only a handful of employees, we have a lot of flexibility in how we work and accomplish our goals. Our company culture promotes having fun and working together as a team in an uplifting environment. We support one another and problem-solve together. We bring this same attitude and approach to our work with clients. We value long-term relationships and connection. It’s not just about what you accomplish, it’s about how you achieve it.
Work Environment
Evergreen Certified has two office buildings, one in Seattle and the other in Tacoma. That being said, our company is currently in a hybrid mode. Most days our team works from home, however we do go into the office one day a week. We also do in-person site visits for projects and clients.
Diversity & Inclusion
We are an equal opportunity employer. We prioritize hiring anyone who is capable of doing the job, regardless of background. We are a diverse team in terms of gender, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation. We are committed to working with a diverse group of clients and stakeholders.
